OSHA Violations List: Recently Cited Companies

This page lists companies with the newest OSHA inspections that have citations on record, and the safety standards cited most often in the last 12 months. Each company links to its public OSHA record with every inspection, citation, and penalty.

How this list is built

The list comes from public OSHA inspection and citation records for federal OSHA and State Plan agencies. A company appears when it has citations on record, sorted by the open date of its newest inspection.

The dollar amount is the company's current penalty total across its inspections. The page refreshes from OSHAlert's data at least once a day.

Build a list for your state or industry

A national list is broad. Most teams work a territory, so start from the state pages, which list recent cited companies in each state, or the state and industry pages for construction, manufacturing, healthcare, and other sectors.

On osha.gov you can also search by NAICS or SIC code to see inspections in one industry, or use Frequently Cited OSHA Standards to see the top violations for a NAICS code.

What the violation types mean

Each citation item is classified as serious, other-than-serious, willful, repeat, or failure to abate. Willful and repeat items usually carry the highest penalties and point to ongoing safety problems.

Turn the list into outreach

A list is only useful if you act on it soon after the inspection. OSHAlert watches new inspections and citations for the states and industries you choose and sends them to you with company details, so you are not checking a list by hand each week.

Recently inspected companies with citations

Newest inspections at companies with citations on record. The date is the inspection's open date; the amount is the company's current penalty total.

Frequently asked questions

Does OSHA publish a list of companies with violations?

OSHA publishes a yearly Top 10 of the most cited standards and a searchable database of inspections, but not a ready-made list of cited companies. Lists like this one are built from that public database.

Which companies appear on this list?

Companies with citations on record, ordered by their newest inspection. Each name links to the company's public OSHA record.

What is the most cited OSHA violation?

Fall protection in construction (29 CFR 1926.501) leads OSHA's preliminary Top 10 for fiscal year 2026. The live table on this page shows the most cited standards in the last 12 months.
