About This Data

OSHA conducts workplace inspections to enforce safety standards under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. Violations can be classified as Willful, Repeat, Serious, or Other-than-Serious, with penalties ranging from a few hundred dollars to over $150,000 per violation.
